an outage and slave can no longer connect to the SR and cannot ping the floating IP (10.10.10.3)

we are using a 2-node cluster? our storage is based on the 3rd-party HA-lizard 2-node cluster solution

If you are using an active/active bond for the replication link, try unplugging one of the Ethernet cables from the bonded interface momentarily and then plug back in. If you don't have physical access to the host, you can accomplish the same from the shell. For example, to replug eth3, you can

ifconfig eth3 down
ifconfig eth3 up
This would force an ARP broadcast on the link

Fyi. We have added some logic to capture and resolve this scenario automatically. It should be available in early October or sooner.
