Correct.
The upgraded host will have lost its config files. So you'll need to copy them from the non-upgraded host to the upgraded host.

Then you perform the same operation in the other direction after upgrading the second host.

Many thanks for the clarification - just wanted to be doubly sure as we have a couple of live production VMs in our setup.

Will attempt these steps some time today or tomorrow and post back the results.

Upgrade went through fine with the provided steps - just patching 6.5 with the various hotfix releases before testing the HA.

Thanks again.

Upgrade Xen 6.2 to 6.5 7 years 1 week ago #1279

Hi!
I did as in the description, but the lack of TGTD service in my xs6.5 SP1 version is it normal? Sync does not work and xencenter sr iscsi is not connected to node, it's unpluged. I use iscsi-ha 2.1.4 and ha-lizard 2.1.3

One of the steps is to reinstall the iscsi target on the upgraded host.

yum --enablerepo=base --disablerepo=citrix install scsi-target-utils

So I was thinking to reinstall the iscsi target with this command also in Your pdf, but repo will not work anymore in xen and it will take me some time before I update the packages that I need again, which again need to update other packages. Do you have any method for running the repodata back?

PS.
I managed to connect back to SCSI drive in master host and slave using old backup with /etc/lvm/backup and its new configuration file could make a VM backup. If you copy old settings disconnect scsi drive in xencenter.

PStwo.
Installing hotfix to xs6.2 with this support.citrix.com/article/CTX220281 hotfix that update xen kernel to new version 868 and old drbd package halizard.org/release/drbd/RPM/ software does not work now.
