There is an issue with bonds within a linux bridge that presents randomly. Assuming your replication link is bonded, on reboot, a bond may not be able to send gratuitous ARP the peer host, breaking communication. You can confirm this by simply pinging from each host to the peer's replication IP address.

If this is your issue, we detect and handle this, but, it cat take up to 5 minutes to clear after boot.

Please confirm whether the issue resolved itself after a few minutes.
Thank You

Thank you Salvatore

I am now able to ping my replication ips from both host as well as the floating ip but still it shows that the ISCSI TARGET stopped

I deactivate the NIC that is associate with the replication ip and activate it and that is how I was able to ping both hosts.

By the way with the bonded NICs should this be shown if I go ifconfig??

Because I can't seems see any bond interface
