Hi all, new to the forum and just about to embark on my first Xenserver cluster using HA Lizard, I see in the docs that a bonded connection between the hosts is configured....my question is do I have to use a bonded connection or can I just use 1x NIC per host for this? I understand that it's not as safe but if I can get away with using just 1 interface...

a bonded link is not strictly required. single interface is fine and will perform the same as a bond

Thank you Salvatore, and for the management and vm bridged....can I use one nic to do both, i.e. manage the hosts through the vm bridged network?

yes, for testing, sharing the mgt and vm interface is fine. i would not do that in a live environment since vm migrations and other operations will affect your vm interfaces
