I will run be installing new server in couple of days so I will give it a try.

It is not working for me, Any input would be appreciated.

So I have tried to add this with some problems.
When I added configuration for the iscsi2 my iscsi1 went off line.
When I try to add it back to pool I get this error:






iscsi-cfg status seems to be happy:





iscsi-cfg log though reports that the iscsi2 is in the slave mode:








The changes I made are below. After the changes I restarted the xenserver.

The log I was not able to add to the previous message:

Your config files look OK. The disk is not attached to resource iscsi2. Did you initialize iscsi2 by creating metadata and connecting for the first time?

I am knew to xenserver but trying to get up to the speed ...
So no I did nothing like that. I thought that I will have to create additional SR for iscsi2 in xenconsole as I did for iscsi1.
How would I do that then?

btw: why did I loose iscsi1?
